Discussion: Re-Reading!

Re-reading a favorite novel is so much fun! I love re-reading my favorite novels from time to time.

In fact, recently, I always have a book that I'd be simultaneously re-reading with whichever book I was currently reading for reviewing purposes.

It feels good to read a book and know that you don't have to remember it's flaws or plus points or analyse it in any way. You know, reading for just the pleasure of reading.

Currently, I'm re-reading Harry Potter And The Chamber Of Secrets.

Re-reading sort of feels like coming back home after a trip, everything is so familiar and comforting!

Do you re-read your favorite books often? Which is the one book that you have re-read so many times that you've lost count?

For me, the answer is The Fault In Our Stars. I find Hazel's story so relatable and comforting. It's kinda my safe haven.

Looking forward to your answers in the comments! :)

  1. I love rereading my favourites. Too sad that I don't have a lot of time to do that lately =((

  2. Some books I have re-read, others I have left well alone eventhough I loved them first time around. I've read 'The Snow Child' by Eowyn Ivey and 'The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night Time' three times in as many years.

  3. I think the HP books might be one of two series I would consider reading again. Great choice.

  4. I don't re read books too much. I do love re reading Outlander! :)

  5. I have a friend that says rereading is like pulling on your comfiest blanket during a cold winter morning. I, however, very rarely reread series because I want it to hurry up and get to the outcome I already know. My husband, though, could relive HP for the rest of his life and never be sick of it.

  6. I enjoy rereading for those reasons but also love the suspense of working toward the end of a book to see what happens :) Great discussion!
