I'd love to know what you're looking for in a Book Blog, so I can improve myself!
What kind of blogs would you like to read?
What exactly would you be looking for in a perfect blog?
Would you rather read reviews of well known books or Indie Novels?
Anything else you'd like to suggest?

I would like to read the kind of blogs that have loads of book reviews in loads of different genres. A Perfect (Book) Blog for me would have loads of book reviews & a few Book Tags/Personal Blogs every now & then. Both Well Known & Indie Novels because the Well Known Book Reviews might attact people to read the Indie Novels reviews.
ReplyDeleteThanks for your suggestion! I'll surely try to incorporate it into my blog!
DeleteIndie, absolutely Indie! I am trying to promote as many Indie authors as I can because I think they get a bad rap. So if you'd like to share recommendations, hit me up! As for the blog, I like mostly reviews because it adds to my TBR (wait, that sounds backwards, doesn't it! lol, oh well) but tags are always fun, too! I do a mix of reviews and tags, getting ready to start some discussions :) Hope this helps!
ReplyDeleteIt definitely helps! :)
DeleteI am a very poor blogger as I tend to just do reviews but I like to read reviews of books I've considered reading or have not read yet as well as those I have read to see if I gelled with the mainstream.
ReplyDeleteThere is absolutely nothing wrong with just doing reviews. I love reading your reviews :)
DeleteTake everything with a grain of salt. Getting some ideas is great, but you should also do the things that inspire you and make you happy as a book blogger.
ReplyDeleteI love reading reviews of both well known as well as Indie novels. It is great when a blog is a mix of both. I am always drawn to books I have never heard about before but at the same time if a well know author is releasing a book then I want in on the details before investing.
ReplyDeleteI love discovering new authors. Sometimes, I think I want a blogger who reads what I like to read but that makes me miss out on all these fantastic authors...mainstream or indie.
ReplyDeleteI would say review books that pique your interest. It is good if you have some sort of general theme, but in the end it needs to be something you have fn writing about. I personally like reading reviews about popular books so I can see what other people thought
ReplyDeleteI like to read a combo of reviews of well known books and indie books. If they're all well known, then I won't find new, never-been-heard of reads. I like book photography, mixed with well written reviews, that go beyond "I loved this book!" I always want to know the "why".
